If you have chosen 'Chance It' or 'Risk Taker' insurance when making a booking request and would like to upgrade your level of cover, you can do so before the booking start time.
We are unable to allow insurance upgrades once the booking period begins.
Before the booking is confirmed
You are able to adjust your level of insurance cover on your booking through the website up until the owner accepts the request and it becomes 'Paid and Confirmed'.
- Go to My Trips.
- Under "Upcoming Trips", find the booking you'd like to edit.
- Click View Details to go to the trip page.
- Click Change Insurance Cover and select the level of cover you'd like.
- Click Save Changes
- The booking cost will automatically update and you will be charged this amount once the booking request is accepted.
Before the confirmed booking begins
If your booking is 'Paid and Confirmed' you can increase your level of insurance cover for an additional cost.
- Go to My Trips.
- Under "Upcoming Trips", find the booking you'd like to edit.
- Click View Details to go to the trip page.
- Click Change Insurance Cover and select the level of cover you'd like.
- Enter your credit card details to pay the additional cost.
- If payment is processed successfully, your level of cover will be upgraded immediately and you will receive a receipt for the additional cost.
