Yes. All Yourdrive cars must comply with the same safety standards as any rental cars in New Zealand and have passed the NZTA approved safety inspections for commercial vehicles.
In addition to this, at the start of the rental period, the vehicle owner must ensure the vehicle:
- is in a roadworthy, serviceable and safe condition
- has a spare tyre that is roadworthy and inflated
- has a jack and tyre replacement tools; has all required vehicle fluids, transmission, oil, coolant, brake and power steering, and fluid and wiper wash at a satisfactory level to last the duration of the Booking Period
- has a full tank of fuel
- is reasonably clean
- does not contain any of their personal belongings
