After the booking is confirmed, you will receive the renter's contact details. Contact the renter to make arrangements for pick up.
When the renter picks up the car, you should:
- Check the driver's licence of the person picking up the car to verify their identity. The licence needs to match the identity of the person picking up the car and the Yourdrive profile. Do not hand the keys over if the person picking up the car is not the person who booked the car!
- Check the driver's licences of any additional drivers registered to the booking. All registered drivers must be present at pick up.
- Perform a vehicle inspection with the renter taking photos of the vehicle to verify it's condition in the case of a claim. For details of the photos you should take, see our 'What photos should I take at the start and end of each rental?' FAQ.
- Inform the renter of the type of fuel the vehicle takes.
